  • No! There is no sharing with anyone in this series. Each Hollow Boy gets his own book, minus Thatcher who got two cause he’s a Prima Donna.

  • Nope! There are a few ghost stories told, but not paranormal.

  • Silas! I’m a sucker for the quiet guys.

  • Coraline! She's the most like me.

  • No. The Hollow Boys series is over BUT…I am writing a Hollow Boys Next Generation. The River Styx Heathens will feature Alistair, Rook, and Silas’s kids!

  • A lot of reasons. Lyra and Thatcher are serial killers, for one. That doesn’t go away because the fell in love. There isn’t a shot in the world either of them would want to raise a kid knowing who they are and what they do in their basement…and backyards. I think it’s important to represent those who don’t want kids or can’t have children of their own. Children do not equal a happy ever after. Babies and marriage isn’t for everyone, and that’s more than okay. Lastly, and most importantly, their characters don’t make sense as parents. With their trauma and personalities ext. I wouldn’t feel right doing that. Above everything, I will always stay true to the characters I create. It’s the most important thing to me with this career because while it’s what I do for a job and I love it, it’s also my art.

    HOWEVER! Fear not! Aunt Lyra and uncle Thatcher will make cameos in The River Styx Heathens.
